Vintage Blue Mountain Pottery Swan Planter — Green Drip Glaze, Collingwood Ontario c.1970s
A true classic of mid-century Canadian art pottery.
This beautiful vintage swan planter by Blue Mountain Pottery was crafted in Collingwood, Ontario and features the company’s famous and highly coveted multi-toned green drip glaze. A vivid fluid turquoise and deep pine green cascade beautifully over a glossy black base, accentuating the graceful sweeping neck and stylized feather detailing of the swan. The smooth unglazed underside reveals the rich red clay native to the Georgian Bay region — the signature of authentic BMP.
Perfectly sized to host a tiny succulent, hold delicate jewellery on a vanity, or accent a moody grandmillennial bookshelf or windowsill vignette.
