This vintage 1968 ceramic lidded figural jar is from the highly collectible Mood Indigo (Blue Mood) collection by Inarco Japan. Featuring an exquisite high-gloss majolica glaze in vibrant shades of indigo and turquoise blue, the jar is designed as an ornate stacked pyramid of three-dimensional fruit — textured citrus, apples, pears, and a cluster of grapes. The lid lifts off seamlessly, making it perfect as a whimsical sugar bowl, jam pot, trinket dish, or standalone statement piece on a retro kitchen hutch.
The underside is crisply stamped with the Inarco E-2372 model number and includes the original “G” mark and black-and-gold foil sticker from Canadian importer Giftcraft, certifying its authentic mid-century Japanese origin.
